2024 Hall of Fame Inductees

Karen Peek
Karen Peek, Detroiter and U of M graduate, is a pioneer in golf course operations and instruction. She operates Detroit’s three golf courses: Rouge Park Golf Course, Chandler Park Golf Course, and Rackham Golf Course. She was the only Black Class A member of the LPGA Teacher and Club Pro Division when she first joined and the first from Michigan. She was honored at the 1993 National Women in Golf Summit as one of the key women in Golf and shared the stage with the likes of Nancy Lopez. Karen is instrumental in the success of the MWGA USGA-LPGA program because it is held at the Detroit Golf Courses. In 2024, Karen received the GAM Champions Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award.

Terri Anthony Ryan
Terri Anthony Ryan was the first woman to obtain PGA Membership in the Michigan Section PGA in 1984. She has served as head professional, City of Southfield Golf Course and Programs since 1989. She was the Head Golf Coach for the U of D Mercy Women’s Golf team from 2004 to 2018 (14 years). She was voted Horizon Coach of the Year three times. She has been a teaching pro for the MWGA USGA-LPGA Girls Golf Program since 2015 (9 years). She is the current Southfield High School Boys and Girls Golf Coach and has developed numerous community golf programs for women, seniors, adults, youth with disabilities, and the military.

Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll
Stacy Slobodnik Stoll has won more GAM Championships than any man or women (25). She was named the GAM Women’s Player of the Decade in 2010. She has qualified for the US Women’s Amateur four times, the US Women’s Mid-Amateur several times, and since turning 50 two years ago, has qualified and made match play in both US Women’s Senior Championships. She is also the winningest MSU Women’s Coach. She has coached the MSU Women’s Golf Team for 27 years with 23 appearances in the NCAA Regional Championship and 13 trips to the NCAA Final Championship. She is a 5-time Big Ten Coach of the Year. Stacy was inducted into the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame and the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 2017.
